1. The Good - My laptop was returned to me on Friday! I cannot even begin to tell you how thrilled I was!!!!! Happy, ecstatic, amazed - to name a few.
2. The Bad - My daughter is sick again. She has had a fever since Friday of 101. We are rotating between Motrin and Tylenol and that seems to be helping some.
3. The Ugly - Plugged in the returned laptop to charge it - smelled as if it was going to burst into flames at any moment. It's going back to Dell Monday.....

Ah, man!!! That stinks. Sorry about the sicks and the smokey laptop. Hope both get better soon!!
oh, no! i think that dell should, at the very least, give you a brand new laptop...i mean, it broke while under warranty and when they "fixed" it it almost starts a fire. yup, you deserve a new laptop...tell them i told them so!

I have a Dell myself which hasn't given me too much trouble, but I also have a bunch of classmates who have had complete blow-ups on their Dell. I swear, I saw one catch fire my first year of law school!
Well that sucks!! About the laptop and your daughter. It seems like one of us has been constantly fighting some little bug off this winter. It's getting annoying.
Awwww, friggin' Dell! They should be bombed, all of 'em. What the heck is with a burning smell from a computer??
