Conversations

Conversation between my 18 year old son and myself:

son: "I keep lifting weights and working out and I just can't gain a pound." (he says this with much exasperation)

me: "wow" (said with no sympathy)

This is genetic for him, he can't help it. It's genetic... from his dad.

I wish I could give him some of mine. I blink and I gain another pound.

My husband is almost 30 and still complains about the same problem. I don't mind though. I like my guy skinny. :)

My daughters are like that. They can eat a sea of junk and laze around and not gain an ounce.

I just gained a couple of pounds thinking about that.

I could give him a few pointers...
chocolate, cake, ice cream, oreos, cheesecake, smores...

My brother is like that, he eats more than a cow but has amazing metabolism...it isn't fair *pouting*

Have a great weekend!

You know, my husband and sons have the same "problem". Gee, I feel so sorry for them (insert mental eye roll)!

Does he want like 40 pounds of mine? I wonder if they will ever have a fat transplant to make this possible?
