Happenings

I haven't blogged all week because, well, I just didn't have anything nice to say. And you know the saying...

The only things I have to talk about are 1. my absolute loathing of my job (already worn out my welcome on complaining about that, I feel). 2. me missing my laptop. 3. being broke.

Hmmm, I started this blog to talk about my family, my kids and try to throw some humor in every now and a again (not that I did it well, but I try!). So, I have thrown in the towel this week because my kids have done nothing cute or daring or dumb or anything to write home about.

I also am sorry I haven't visited everyone else's blog and been commenting. The lack of my laptop and my job stress at an all time high, I haven't been able to. I miss you guys!!!!!!!!!

On a happier note, my daughter is better. I didn't even need to take her to the dr. LOVE THAT!

Oh and my tree is still up....

So now you can just change the decorations and make it a Valentine's Day tree...

I'm glad your daughter is better and I'm sorry about your job. I'm still trying to find a job! Good luck, we all go through this, trust me!

CONGRATS ON YOUR LOSS TOO...now maybe for a little exercise you can take down that tree. ;P

You know, having your tree still up is not so bad. Who says you even need to take it down at all? When you come home from your yucky job and are dreaming of a brand new laptop, switch gears and sit under the glow of the tree with a good book, a warm blanket, and a cup of hot chocolate...or a glass of wine, wine would be good, too! In fact, maybe you should have wine. God bless!

I didn't understand the tree reference until I read the comments. You mean your CHRISTMAS tree? Hahaha! In my adult life I've only had one Christmas tree. It was back in 1991 and I didn't throw it away until April. I was so ashamed to let the neighbors see what a huge slacker I was, I never got another tree. Hmm, seventeen years later, maybe it's time to try again.

Oh - your tree is still up? That was funny - in a pathetic sort of way (tee hee)! I'm sorry you've been having a bad week - and your kids are being so boring and all - I hope it gets better!! Thanks for coming and seeing me - that makes me feel so good, knowing how bad you've been feeling and then you have read "that" post - sorry about that. But, thanks so much for your nice comment - you are a good friend and you know that I am here for you. Hope the weekend gets here fast for you and it is a nice one. See you soon. Kellan

It's not even March yet, why do you need to take your tree down so early?

I've been a bad blogger this week too. I've been so busy but I haven't done anything in particular.

My kids give me good blog material several times a day but I usually have to deal with it instead of write about it. By the time that incident is over the next one starts.

I think my baby said Dammit today.

I like Holly's suggestion. Glad to hear your daughter is doing better.

I'm glad she is feeling better! And now I don't feel quite so bad about my lack of blog reading and commenting too. :) I'm trying to catch up tonight, really I am.
