Whew, what a day! I spent, yet again, another day in my life cleaning the house and doing laundry. Almost all of the laundry is done and it's all nicely folded on the couch, I am just wayyyyyyy to d*mn tired to put it away. I will tomorrow night.
This week is kind of like a vacation week for me. I still have to go to my full time job but my daughter doesn't have dance lessons, so I will be home every evening!!!! YIPEE!!!!! Plus there is no Nutcracker practice either. :)
I guess for Thanksgiving we are going over to my SIL (husband's sister) house. I should not be surprised, that is where we have went every year since we have been together, my family is very small and we don't usually do Thanksgiving, only Christmas. I don't know why I am not excited this year, I would rather just SLEEP all day that day. Is that bad of me? Because I am really not kidding.
In other news, I hope you are all sitting down for this one - as I have been writing about it off and one for several weeks now, my daughter FINALLY got her room ALL CLEAN!!!!!!!!!!! Praise God and Hallelujah. Seriously... it is a miracle. It is all picked up, put away, and even vacuumed. She did 98% of it herself. On the last leg of it, I went in and did some directing for her, she was having problems focusing at that point. It took her the entire day to accomplish this. I am very proud of her.
The Husband on the other hand is still on my sh*t list. Really, it's not even worth writing about, let's just say if I could beat him over the head with a frying pan, I so would right now. EVERYTHING he does right now drives me nuts and at this point I am seriously unsure if it's me or him.... and I don't really care. Bad of me, I know.
Oh and I finally took down my Halloween decorations, with Christmas right around the corner and the decorations going up next weekend for that, I thought it was about time. Procrastination is my middle name!

We did our share of cleaning today as well - the garage (ugh!) - so there will be room for all those Christmas storage boxes next week! Glad your daughter got her room cleaned! I know how it feels with the husband though - I only cleaned my side of the garage - his is a huge ol' mess! Take care and see you soon. Kellan
yay, sounds like you got lots done! yay for daughter too, can she come nudge mine to do hers. Procrastination runs in our family too!
Ha! My oldest finally cleaned up her room yesterday too. Why? Certainly not because of all my nagging. No, because her boyfriend was coming over. Not that they spend any time in her room...in fact, they spent about 4 hours watching TV on the living room couch. But for some reason, him coming over motivated her to clean up her room. Hey, I'm not complaining.
And the fact that you would rather sleep all day than do Thanksgiving? Not bad at all. Quite reasonable, in my opinion!
Oh, and sorry about the husband. I have one of those too. A husband that is sometimes on my sh*t list, that is.
I remember the days when I was praised and honored for cleaning my room. Now when I clean it I hurry and close the door before the kids discover the floor is clear so they can cover it with crap again.
Sorry you are still on the outs with your husband. Hope it gets better before you have to deal with Thanksgiving!
Wow. We're twins. My eldest daughter spent all day cleaning her room yesturday...and now it's amazing.
And my darling husband is totally on my 'bad' list today too. Can we kick them or something?
You got me beat!
I feel like a frump - I didn't get NEAR done what you did - it snowed and my 2 year old HAD HAD HAD to play outside every waking moment!
I need to stop procrastinating, stop reading all these darn blogs and go start my laundry, I'm in for a full day of it...YUCK!
Congrats to your daughter, I wish my house was clean...I need a bigger vaccuum to just consume the things I don't want to bend over and pick up. :)
Hey there...glad to hear your daughter got her room cleaned up. Amazingly, my oldest, who shares a room with my youngest, actually found the carpeting on his floor the other day too! I was so excited...it's the first time in Idunnohowlong that it's been THAT clean!! Now, to get the middle guy to do the same to his room...hmmm...
Sorry to hear you're having problems with the hubby. If you can, try to let it go. Men don't really understand what us women need sometimes until it's plotted out to them like a football play strategy. "Honey, when you talk to me I listen because I know you need to vent. Now, next time I need to vent, if you listen and make me feel important and special we can see about indulging that fantasy with the feather and the leather skirt...if you enhance this with flowers or doing housework we can see about a double bubble bath after the kids are in bed...." LOL!! Men are like kids...BRIBERY WORKS! LOL Hope you have a great Thanksgiving...try to remember that which you are thankful for...even though I know (especially after my week last week, and the way this one is starting out) it seems impossible sometimes. You're in my thoughts!!
